Rediscovering Complementarity

In recent decades our society has struggled to find a way to articulate the distinctive gifts of the masculine and feminine, while still affirming the equality of women and men. The general trend has been to downplay the differences between the sexes. But something important is lost when we deny the distinctive and special gift that men and women are to each other. "Rediscovering Complementarity" looks at why it has been difficult to address the question of complementarity in recent times, and how we can recover the wisdom in tradition while finding a better way to integrate the complementary gifts of masculine and feminine in our society and culture today.
